This popular campground is set in a forest of ponderosa pine, along the banks of the Chewuch River. 15 miles north of Winthrop, Washington. Walking and bicycle opportunities on the forest road. Some sites have maximum length of 35 feet. Drive north on West Chewuch Road (county road 1213) and onto paved forest road #51 for 15 miles to Chewuch Campground on the Chewuch River.
