About this place

This campground is located approximately 60 miles northwest of Fort Collins, Colorado, and situated in a mountainous, lodgepole pine forest. Each site contains a tent pad, fire grate and picnic table. All campsites with a tent pad have a bear locker. Additional facilities provided include a playground area and a boat ramp. Popular activities include fishing and boating on Chambers Lake or other near by lakes and streams, hiking, scenic driving and wildlife viewing. Please note the boat ramp may be unusable in late summer due to drop in water level. A fee is charged. Drive ten miles north of Fort Collins on U.S. Highway 287. Turn left (west) onto Colorado Highway 14 and travel approximately 51 miles. Turn right (north) onto signed road into campground (this will be approximately one mile past the turnoff for Laramie River Road).
