About this place
Boles Field is located in the northern portion of Sabine National Forest in eastern Texas, near the border of Louisiana. The area centers around a cemetery for fox hounds established at the turn of the century, and some of the world's most well-known hunting dogs are buried here. A fee is charged. Follow Highway 87 south from Center for 4 miles; turn left (east) on FM 2694 for 8 miles to entrance.
