Battle Creek Campground is a developed campground with 50 designated sites located just off of Highway 36 near Mineral California. Battle Creek is a year round creek in a gorgeous conifer forest. Creek access is within walking distance. Campfire rings and tables are provided at each site, as well as at a few sites designated for day use only. Drinking water is available. Battle Creek Campground is close to Lassen Volcanic National Park which offers many diverse hiking trails and other outdoor amenities. A fee is charged. Located on Highway 36 approximately 2 miles west of Mineral, CA, and 38 miles east of Red Bluff, CA . From Chester, travel west on HWY 36 until just past Mineral, CA. The campground entrance will be on your left.
