About this place
Thielsen Forest Camp is a free camping area with five sites. This former Civilian Conservation Corps camp makes it a great place to stay if you are planning to hike Mount Thielsen, visiting Crater Lake, or exploring some of the many waterfalls along Highway 138. From Glide OR, take HWY 138E eastbound toward Diamond Lake for 55.5 miles. Thielsen Forest Camp is on the left side of the Highway.
