Spruce Campground, located on Cebolla Creek, lies between the Powderhorn and La Garita Wilderness Areas. This area is popular with hikers, backpackers and anglers. From Lake City, CO, drive nine miles southeast on State Highway 149 to Forest Road 788. Turn left on Forest Road 788 and drive eight miles to the campground, past Deer Lakes and Hidden Valley Campgrounds.
