About this place
A campground located in the Slim Buttes Unit near the Castles National Natural Landmark, one of two on the Sioux Ranger District. The campground is directly off of HWY 20, 20 miles south and east of Buffalo. Spectacularly eroded steep-walled buttes. From Buffalo, SD take Hwy 20 approximately 20 miles to Forest Road 3126. Turn right and campground will be on your left.
