Nestled among a forest of ponderosa pines and just across a dirt road from Dry Creek, this hidden forest get-away is perfect for horse enthusiasts of any kind. The Giddy-Up Go Trailhead is also located just across the road, so access to horse friendly trails does not get much better! Learn about Leave No Trace principles for horse camping From Prineville, Oregon: Take Highway 26 east for approximately 7 miles, then turn left onto Forest Service Road 33 (Mill Creek Road). Continue for approximately 5 miles and turn left at the end of the pavement, which will put you onto Forest Road 3370. Travel about 3 miles north then turn left onto Forest Service Road 3370-200. Dry Creek Horse Camp will be on your left just past the creek.
