Deer Tower Trailhead is a rustic pull-off that gives horse riders a more rustic trail experience to traverse the rugged Ozark Mountains. the 17 miles of trails consist of 3 smaller loop trails. From Jasper, take Arkansas 7 south for 15 miles, then turn right (west) on Arkansas 16 and go 1 mile. Turn right (northwest on FS 1206 (paved) and go approx. 1 miles.
